The champions of the ‘Istanbul 24-hour Boostrace’, which was organized for the second time this year under the sponsorship of Türk Telekom, were announced. In the 24-hour challenge that took place on September 17-18 at the Intercity Istanbul Park track; Buket Demirci in solo women and Ahmet Karaoğlan in solo men placed at the top for the first time this year, while the teams that covered the most distance in the categories consisting of 2, 4 and 6 people qualified to take the podium. In the corporate category; Tivibu for men and Migros Virtual Market teams in mixed category won the corporate category titles of Türk Telekom ‘Istanbul 24 hours Boostrace’.
‘Turk Telekom Istanbul 24 Hour Boostrace’, which was met with great interest in the world and held for the second time in Turkey this year, took place on 17-18 September at the Intercity Istanbul Park track.
Organized under the main sponsorship of Türk Telekom, “Istanbul 24 Hours Boostrace” attracted great attention with the participation of more than 500 professional and amateur athletes, including world-famous cyclists. The teams that completed the race, which continued day and night with the support of the audience, put up an important struggle.
Buket Demirci won the first place in the solo women category and Ahmet Karaoğlan in the solo men’s category, which was added to the ‘Turk Telekom Istanbul 24 hours Boostrace’ for the first time this year. In the Corporate Team categories added for the first time this year; While the Tivibu team for 4-person men and Migros Virtual Market teams took the first place in the 4-person mixed category, Türk Telekom Cycling Team for 4-person men took the second place. In the 6-person category, the women’s Borusan team, and the mixed category Yapı Kredi teams won the first place. Arzu Sağnak from Giant Turkey Team was the athlete who completed the first round in the shortest time in women among the teams that took the course, while Halil İbrahim Doğan from the Tivibu corporate team was in the men’s.
