On the occasion of the IFA, the specialist in small kitchen appliances unveils new products to prepare your meals indoors or outdoors. Among its novelties, an oven for cooking pizzas and smoking dishes, a new fryer without oil and a portable blender. Here are our favorites.
On the occasion of the IFA, the Berlin consumer electronics fair, we met the American brand Ninja. She was present to present several products for the kitchen. Sufficiently advanced technological products to make food preparation more practical. We’ve picked our three favorites.

To establish its supremacy on the fryer without oil, the American Ninja does not fall asleep on its laurels. It unveils a new Air Fryer, theAF500. It carries over to the same black and chrome design as the AF400, but with a change that’s not only bigger, but also revamped. The AF400 was one of the first oil-free fryers with two cooking compartments, for meat and vegetables for example. From now on, the two 9.5 liter bins are replaced by a single 10.4 liter tank. Finally, you can cook a large chicken, a leg or a whole salmon, for example.
But what if you want to cook, at two different temperatures or times, proteins and vegetables? Fortunately, there are two independent resistors and a removable spacer. The AF 500 is thus transformed into a large modular AF400, with in particular the Crysp (240 degrees) or Sync (synchronized cooking) functionalities, available on the double tray model. It’s still 65% faster than a traditional oven but it allowssave 45% energy.
The Ninja Woodfire oven cooks meats and “smokes” like the pros
Let’s move on to the second product of our selection. With its American origins, the Ninja brand is one of the great specialists in smoking, a practice embodied in its catalog by the Woodfire family. On the occasion of the IFA, it is growing with an electric oven which comes with the electric barbecue.
As its name suggests, it is an oven, certainly, but outside. Rather than spending hours lighting coal or wood, it starts immediately with its mains plug and it heats up up to 370 degrees. Baking a pizza takes, for example, 2 minutes.
And, like the barbecue, the Ninja Woodfire oven is equipped on the side with a pellet compartment. It is used to insert wood pellets (a sachet included in the box) which flavor meats and preparations with a delicious wood aroma. Ninja unveils Blast, the blender that can be taken anywhere
The last product in our selection is not suitable for cooking. But it could well bring a little freshness to your holidays, your outdoor getaways, or even your sports sessions. Because nothing like a smoothie after the effort to rebalance the body in mineral salts, vitamins and sugars. Unfortunately, walking around with your blender in the gym can get you a few amused stares. Ninja overcomes this frugivorous frustration with the Blast.
The Blast looks like a classic blender: it grinds ice cream and fruit/vegetables like any other. But this is not a classic blender. The Ninja Blast is equipped with a USB type C plug instead of the AC adapter. The reason: it works with a battery that allows 15 mixes (DJ not included). And it charges with your smartphone charger. It’s very useful.
