Nowadays you can publish text, voice, photo or video statuses on WhatsApp, although before doing so you need to decide which one you are going to use, as there are two floating buttons to do it. In the future, it is possible that the WhatsApp interface will be simplified with a single button and a single status creator.
WhatsApp is testing a new status editor with which you can create text, photo or video statuses, alternating between the different types with tabs at the bottom, instead of having to exit and start creating the status again with the other mode, as before.e
New status editor in WhatsApp
A small novelty in WhatsApp will help clean its interface of unnecessary buttons and, incidentally, should save us the odd touch if we publish a lot of statuses in the application. The novelty is a new status editor with all types supported: text, video and photo. We can switch from one mode to another with tabs at the bottom.
The editor otherwise remains the same (except that, for now, it doesn’t seem to be possible to create voice memos), but the importance of the redesign is that itThe states will be created in a single placeinstead of having two: one for text and voice statuses and one for photo and video statuses.
This in turn means that second floating button could be removed to create statuses, which is currently displayed above our channel list in the settings tab News, making them more difficult to read and, in general, adding visual pollution.
With this redesign, which is underway but not yet active for users, WhatsApp will be comparable to other similar applicationswhere states are created in a single place, regardless of what is in them.
As we mentioned before, the novelty is on the way and It still doesn’t seem to be completely ready.since statuses with voice notes cannot be published using this method yet, so it will normally take a few weeks or months to reach users.
