Put an end to spam calls with Pepeescudo, the new free Pepephone app for customers of any operator

So far this summer, Pepephone has announced different improvements within your offer: on the one hand, it has increased the gigabytes of both its cheapest mobile rate and the Inimitable, and on the other, it has introduced the possibility of adding up to four additional lines to its basic Netflix plan.

Now, it has surprised us with the launch of a tool that will not only benefit your customers, but can also be used by users of any operator. This is Pepeescudo, a free app that allows you to know who is calling you before you pick up, block calls from unwanted numbers and even report possible fraudulent numbers.

A free app for everyone

Unlike the Mi Pepephone self-management app, which is only useful for Pepephone customers, the new Pepeescudo app is available for free to everyoneregardless of whether you are a Pepephone customer or not.

Once the appropriate permissions have been downloaded and configured, this new mobile app allows you to identify who is calling youso that, before picking up, you can know if it is spam, a telemarketing survey or a possible fraud.

In addition, it offers the possibility of block unwanted numbers to no longer receive their calls, although you will continue to receive their SMS. You can also report them and this is especially important because Pepephone clarifies that, although it uses Hiya and its Hiya Protect service as a provider, there may be some numbers that have not yet been identified.

Pepeescudo is now available for free download on the App Store (for iPhone), Google Play (for Android phones) and App Gallery (for Huawei phones).
