Tech News Desk – Major chipset maker Qualcomm has launched its new mobile processor Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 (Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2). Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is a midrange smartphone chipset. Apart from this, there is a new chipset of Snapdragon 7-series. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 has been launched last year. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor is up to 50 percent faster and up to 13 percent more battery efficient. There is a lot of focus on gaming with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has camera support up to 200 megapixels. Along with this, there is also support for Auto Variable Rate Shading (VRS) for gaming. It has support for Qualcomm’s aptX lossless codec. Also, AI has also been made 40 percent better than before. Redmi and Realme phones with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipsets could be launched by next month.
Regarding Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the company claims that an attempt has been made to bring the features of Snapdragon 8-series chipset in this midrange chipset. Clock speed up to 2.91GHz will be available with the new processor. Apart from this, this chipset will be able to click 30 good pictures even in low light. There is support for Dual SIM Active (DSDA) with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 which supports both 5G and 4G networks. With this, a downloading speed of up to 4.4Gbps has been claimed. Wi-Fi 6 will be available in it.
