Technology News Desk !!! The US-based chip maker could be an ultra-high frequency variant of Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. According to GSMArena, Qualcomm may launch two different versions of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Generation 2. Currently, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Generation 1’s prime core is clocked at 3.19GHz, while the high-frequency option will offer at least 3.4-3.5GHz. As per the report, some units will be able to maintain the higher clock speed. The report also suggests that there is going to be a significant improvement in the GPU department. According to previous rumours, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and will power the iQ11 among dozens of other flagships. –IANS
