Razer takes the audio experience a step further and offers a new soundbar focused on those who seek meticulous surround sound.
The renowned video game technology company introduced the Leviathan V2 Pro at CES 2023.
This is the latest addition to their existing range of sound bars designed to provide audio for PC Gamers.
The Leviathan V2 Pro is the result of the company’s partnership with THX and Audioscenic.
Razer claims that this soundbar offers the user “3D audio” by combining beamforming surround sound with head-tracking AI technology.
How Razer’s Leviathan V2 Pro works
Razer’s Leviathan V2 Pro bar features a built-in IR camera that can detect the user’s position.
This allows the soundbar to optimize sound by adapting the audio beams to the listener’s position in real time.
Two modes are available for the 3D audio function: THX Spatial Audio Virtual Headset and THX Spatial Audio Virtual Speakers.
The former mimics the positional audio typically found in virtual headsets and speakers.
While the second fills a room like a home theater system.
The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro also comes with a subwoofer to enhance the bass.
Includes a dedicated 3.5mm input for the subwoofer on the back of the soundbar, along with a second 3.5mm port for headphones, a power adapter port, and a single USB-C port for connecting to your PC.
The RAzer Leviathan V2 Pro will be available to buy from February 2023 and its price will be around $400 dollars, that is, approximately $7732.92 MXN.
