Where to buy The
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro at the best price?
Dull and shiny at the same time
With the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Xiaomi signs a new smartphone with an unrefined, dull design that lacks softness in the grip. In addition, the back picks up fingerprints too easily. But, when you look at its screen, you really see that there has been a significant effort for this price bracket. Here we have a 6.67-inch OLED panel in Full HD + definition (2400 x 1080 pixels) and with an adaptive refresh rate climbing up to 120 Hz.
For the photo part, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a main sensor wide-angle of 50 Mpx (f / 1.88), an ultra wide-angle of 8 Mpx (f / 2.2) and a 2 Mpx macro sensor (f / 2.4). The shots are detailed and their quality is correct when taken in broad daylight, the colorimetry is under control, but is a bit dull. The night mode also delivers honorable performance, even if the level of detail and the colorimetry are a little behind, the fact remains that it’s not bad at all for a smartphone under 300 euros.
Xiaomi’s know-how in the battery
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, an eight-core processor clocked at up to 2.3 GHz. This mid-range chip, which is a slight evolution of the 730G, is primarily dedicated to gaming, but even if it runs heavy games like Fortnite Or Genshin Impactyou should not have a heavy hand on the graphic options if you want to keep a gameplay fluid. To run normal applications, it’s clean, there is nothing special to report.
Let’s conclude on a criterion in which Xiaomi has developed enormous know-how: that of autonomy and fast charging. The Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery capable of lasting up to two days if you moderate your use and don’t play games too much. The smartphone is supplied with a 67 W charger unit capable of going from 0 to 99% of the battery in 50 minutes of charging. Which is absolutely excellent!
