A larger screen and integrated GPS
One of the most outstanding features of this generation is that the screen has grown a bit. From the 1.6 inches of the Redmi Watch 2, we go to 1.75 inches. It may not seem like much, but the truth is that it is something that is appreciated when we talk about these sizes.
The panel has ballots to be one of the best in this price range thanks to both the size and the Always+on Display mode and, above all, the resolution. And it is that, it is an AMOLED with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixelswhich gives it a good number of pixels per inch.
Something that has also increased isl battery size, which goes from 230 mAh to 289 mAh. According to the data provided by Xiaomi, this is because they wanted to keep the 12 days of autonomy despite the increased diagonal of the screen.
Beyond the screen and the battery, we have a smartwatch with a metal-finish bezel and a resistance of 5 ATM, so we can swim with it without problems. It has 121 sports modes and typical measurements such as blood oxygen, heart rate or sleep measurement, but in its functions as a ‘smartwatch’ it also takes a small step forward.
Apart from showing the notifications that arrive on the phone, we can answer calls thanks to a speaker that Xiaomi classifies as “HD” and a microphone that has noise cancellation for whoever is on the other side hears us better.
