Los Angeles Police Homicide Detective Harry Bosch is the fictional hero of Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels. Bosch became a very popular series on Amazon Prime starring Titus Welliver, who returns again (he is known for other series such as Deadwood and The Good Wife).
The seventh and final season premiered last June. The new series is based on The Wrong Side of Goodbye, one of Connelly’s books and whose title is the same as the first episode of the first season. Bosch: Legacy picks up the story when Bosch retires from the police, but not from crime solving, as he will become a private detective.
Not counting too many spoilers but to whet your appetite, Maddie is going to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the LAPD as a rookie, only to discover a dark secret. Like its predecessor, it is already one of the best police series on Amazon Prime Video.
One of Bosch’s first jobs will be to find the missing heir of a millionairess, after a mysterious death. With this as a basis, he will have to face great social figures who will not make things easy for our protagonist.
Madison Lintz will reprise her role as Harry’s daughter, Maddie, opposite Bosch’s longtime adversary, defense attorney Honey Chandler.
complete the cast Stephen A. Chang as Maurice “Mo” Bassi and Denise G. Sanchez as Reina Vasquez, as well as Phil Morris, Steven Flynn, Michael Rose, Kate Burton, Mark Rolston, Kandiss Edmundson and William Devane.
The first four episodes of Bosch: Legacy premiere today, Friday, May 6.
