The South Korean company has applied for a patent for a flexible screen for laptops. The design of the laptop patented by Samsung looks similar to the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo. However, Asus laptops have two separate screens, hence the name Duo. Samsung’s patented laptop may feature a bendable screen, in which the base portion of the screen can be used as a tracking pad or keyboard in addition to the main screen. However, this is not the first time that South Korean company Samsung has filed a patent for a foldable screen. The company applied for this patent in the United States Design Patent (USDP) in the year 2020.
