Hand in hand with Runtime, Samsung TV Plus will have three new channels in its catalog. Therefore, once again, it manages to expand its content and add new channels. This has been largely due to the good results that have occurred after the arrival of the Channel Runtime Cinema and Series.
3 new runtime channels
Runtime will have three more channels, starting today March 8, on the free streaming service Samsung TV Plus. Basically, the arrival of these three more options on Samsung’s FAST platform has been possible thanks to the good results they have achieved after the Runtime Cine y Series premiere. In this way, the South Korean manufacturer completes its commitment to the main film genres: Action, Comedy and Romance. All under the Runtime brand.
In addition, with the premiere of these three new film channels, Samsung TV Plus will add to its catalog not only original programming, but also other more than 500 hours of content. The three new channels are as follows:
In this first option that comes to Samsung TV Plus, we can enjoy 24 hours a day movies aimed at a specific audience wanting to action and adrenaline. For this very reason, titles such as ‘The mercenaries‘, with protagonists such as Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jayson Statham, ‘Traitor’ starring Don Cheadle or ‘My life now’ with Tom Holland and Saoirse Ronan.
Within this new channel, we will find all kinds of funny movies for the whole family such as ‘Legal kind‘ (with Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin), ‘Leaves of Grass’ starring Edward Norton and Susan Sarandon or ‘superhero movie‘ with Leslie Nielsen and Drake Bell.
In this case, we will not be able to stop watching romantic comedies and dramatic films, among which titles such as ‘PS: I love you’ with Hillary Swank and Gerald Butler–, ‘New York, I love you‘ with Bradley Cooper, Cristina Ricci and Natalie Portman, among others, or ‘My two loves’ with Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Runtime and Samsung bet
In any case, as the director of Runtime Spain has expressed, ‘it is a pleasure to develop the FAST market hand in hand with Samsung TV Plus, the leading platform in our market and a benchmark in the sectorr’. Furthermore, it makes it clear thatthe rise of free digital shows the opportunity for growth at a time of saturation of offers in paid OTT‘.
In this way, after the union once again between Runtime and Samsung in Spain, its presence is consolidated on the platform that the South Korean manufacturer adds to its Smart TVs in our country. And not only this, but it ‘double your bet’ for the FAST market as alternative to large paid OTT like HBO Max or Netflix.
