In case you hadn’t heard, today at 7:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time the iPhone 15 presentation event is being held. Apart from the new phones, we will have the Apple Watch Series 9 and who knows if a new Apple Watch Ultra and adapting the headphones to the USB-C charging port.
You can follow everything live on Xataka, but there are those who have anticipated the official announcement by putting off some of the surprises planned by those from Cupertino. And the thing is, both La Casa de las Carcasas and the manufacturer Spigen They have shown the cases of the new iPhone 15confirming some characteristics of both the base model and the iPhone 15 Pro.
Let’s start with Spigen, since in this case it is not a leak, but a full-fledged announcement. In case you didn’t know it, it is a North American company that began selling cases in 2008 and, one day before the presentation of the new iPhone, decided to post on Twitter x an image of the iPhone 15 Pro design.
Specifically on the left side where the volume buttons and the new action button are located. Due to the leaks, we already know that it is a programmable button that will allow us to perform various actions and that it comes to replace the mute switch that we have had on iPhones until now.
Now, just because we knew it doesn’t mean it was official and, in fact, everything we knew came from leaks. With Spigen’s announcement, we already have confirmation of its existence.
Furthermore, and this was no longer an official publication, but a full-fledged leak, The boxes of the new iPhone cases were shown confirming the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch diagonals of the new iPhone, as well as a fairly large camera module for the base iPhone 15.
This is curious because these models will have two cameras instead of three, but the module may be larger than that of the iPhone 14 due to the use of larger sensors (the iPhone 15 may inherit the main and wide angle of the iPhone 14 Pro and, hence, the largest size of the module).
