WhatsApp is preparing a very interesting novelty that will allow us to send photos in their original quality.
Sending images, photos, or videos via WhatsApp has never been the best thing to do. The compression that the popular messaging app applies to the photos and videos sent makes it its quality is drastically reduced. However, this is about to change as reported by our colleagues WABetaInfo with a new function.
It looks like, WhatsApp is working on an app update that “will allow you to send high-quality photos”. When sending the photo we can choose between sending it as before or doing it in its original resolution. It is true that there are tricks to send videos and photos by WhatsApp without losing quality from the iPhone, however it would be easier if it were an option in the app itself.
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to send photos in their original quality, preserving their resolution. This new feature will surely be considered as a major update that will greatly improve the user experience when sending images.
WhatsApp is about to improve the sending of images drastically
Sending images by WhatsApp will once again be recommended
Since images can be sent via WatsApp, their quality has been drastically reduced. The objective of this is that Sending that image spends as little mobile data as possiblesomething that some time ago could be interesting but every time it makes less sense.
At the moment WABetaInfo has found this option in the WhatsApp betas for Android and in the betas of the desktop version. When sending an image we will see a new option in the upper zone, which will allow us to send it with a reduced quality as before or with “HD quality”which will retain the original resolution.
The feature will allow users to send images in their original quality, preserving their resolution and clarity.
You should keep in mind that this option is still in development and that it will not be launched for a while through an update of the official WhatsApp app. Before it should reach the beta of WhatsApp for iOS, where it is not available at the moment.
The ability to send photos in their original quality is under development and will be released in a future app update.
A cool feature that we can’t wait to try, like the colorful WhatsApp letters or the cool invisible messages that are already available in the app.
