Simyo retouches its offer again after the price increase carried out last November, and on this occasion, it does so with three novelties: two positive and one not so much.
Again we find a slight increase in the price of access to 100 GB combined with fiber, although as in autumn, this change of conditions applies only to new clients. The improvements will come hand in hand with fiber and are accessible to both existing and new customers.
Simyo fiber, now faster
The new Simyo rates are already in force with which the operator finally makes 100 Mbps fiber obsolete, and jumps to 300 Mbps minimum speed, just as much of the competition has been doing for years. The problem is that the change is caused by the elimination of the 100 Mbps option instead of triple the speed for free as rivals such as O2, Lowi, Digi, Jazztel or MásMóvil did, among others.
Therefore, the price for those combined with 300 Mbps fiber remains unchanged, but when the 100 Mbps option disappears, The price of access to combined fiber and mobile access with 100 GB has become more expensive by 3 euros per month. Those combined with a 40 GB mobile do not raise the access price because since November, they were no longer compatible with 100 Mbps fiber.
Among the improvements, customers with fiber to 500 Mbps will see how speed increases for free up to 600 Mbps. A more standardized speed in the market.
In addition, Simyo debuts 1 Gbps fiber at the same price as Digi and Oléphone, from 29.99 euros per month fiber only, or with a mobile line included with 40 GB for 10 euros more, or 100 GB for a total of 45.99 euros per month.
