Next we are going to show you how to access the reproduction history of your platforms, although unfortunately it is not available on all. Disney + and HBO Max, for example, do not have something like this. With them, it only remains to pray that the series or movie we are looking for gets stuck in the “continue watching”, but this list is also a bit chaotic. Netflix, Prime Video and Filmin do have a history, so let’s get to it.
Consulting the history of streaming platforms
As we’ve said, history is a useful thing when we’re trying to locate something we saw two weeks ago, a month ago, a year ago. Unfortunately, not all streaming platforms, speaking of the market giants, have this function available. Neither HBO Max nor Disney+ have itfor example, so we tell you how to consult it in the rest.
Access Netflix watch history
In all three cases we will have to access this history from our browser, since it is not available in mobile applications or in the television application. A decision that is not understood too much but that’s the way things are. So we’ll start with netflix and we will start by opening the Netflix session in our browser. The mobile browser is also worth it, in case anyone has that doubt-
We log in to Netflix in the browser with our email and password, and right after we access the user profile for which we want to check the playback history. Now we have to click on the top right, the date button that accompanies our profile picture and then access ‘Bill’.
Now we go down to the part of ‘Profile and parental control’ that contains the list of profiles, and we access the profile we want to consult again. We will see that several options are displayed and one of them is ‘Viewing activity’. Click on ‘Watch’ and thus we will have before our eyes the history with everything we have seen under that profile. And we will see that at the bottom we have a ‘Show more’ which will continue to expand the list until there are no more to show. By the way, from there we can report viewing problems, as you can see on the right side. And if you want to access directly, you can do it from here.
- We log in.
- We access the profile we want to consult.
- In the upper right part we display the menu and access ‘Account’
- We go down to ‘Profile and parental control’ and enter the profile we want to consult.
- Click on ‘View’ next to the ‘Viewing activity’.
- With the ‘Show more’ at the bottom we will expand the list.
Access Prime Video watch history
Once we have completed Netflix, it is the turn of Prime Video. Again we have to do it through the browser but the mobile version will also work for us. The steps are similar we’ll tell you in a moment.
We log in to Prime Video from the browser and then click on the user profile we want to consult. Here it does not work like Netflix, which later inside we can consult any available user profile. Only the profile in which we have entered will be consulted. Now click on the drop-down menu on the top right, the one next to our username and then access ‘Account and settings’.
We are already within the options of our account and we will only have to locate one of the upper tabs, the one called ‘View history’. Said and done, we already have the history in front of our eyes and to expand it we will only have to scroll to the bottom, we will then see that the web reloads more items on the list. And if you want to access directly, you can do it from here.
- We log in.
- We access the profile we want to consult.
- In the upper right part we display the menu and access ‘Account and settings’
- Click on ‘Viewing history’.
- By scrolling until the page is finished we will see that it is automatically reloaded expanding the list.
Access the history of Filmin reproductions
It’s Filmin’s turn, which also has a viewing history accessible from the browser. Again, the browser on your mobile is also valid. And again, it all starts with the relevant login with our Filmin username and password. Let’s go there.
We start a session in Filmin from any browser and then we choose the user profile that we want to consult. Now we only have to click on the icon of our user in the upper right part of the browser and then enter ‘Record’. It cannot be said that Filmin makes things complicated in this sense, since it has the most visible track record of the three platforms that we have mentioned. And if you want to access directly, you can do it from here.
- We log in.
- We access the profile we want to consult.
- In the upper right, click on the avatar of our user.
- From the list that is displayed, we choose ‘History’.
