After a Windows update, it is quite likely that something will go wrong. The last of them, which is the great 2022 update for Windows 11, has offered users a large handful of new features, although the most anticipated have been postponed to October, such as the tabs in the File Explorer. Nevertheless, there have also been problems with them.
Users of NVIDIA graphics cards have encountered multiple gaming performance issues after upgrading to Windows 11 version 22H2. The reports came from quite a number of users, and it was not until today that NVIDIA has released a patch for GeForce Experience to fix the bugs.
The players are not saved from the problems either
According to some users from Reddit and Microsoft forums, after having updated to version 22H2, they have found framerate, tearing, and ultimately, bugs. performance issues of all kinds, making the experience when playing is not adequate. Others have also reported that the CPU usage while playing the game has dropped drastically.
According to NVIDIA, this type of failure was caused by its new graphical debugging tools for version 22H2 of Windows 11. The update seemed to be running them accidentally, causing a multitude of performance problems. However, the company has already released a patch for GeForce Experience which fixes the bugs.
Users can now download the patch for GFE. This is a patch for the beta version (3.26), so users can do it in two ways if they want to fix the bugs. On the one hand, they can download the patch manually via this link, or you can activate the experimental features in the GeForce Experience app. For the latter, simply go to the application settings and in the ‘General’ tab, check the ‘Enable experimental functions’ box.
If at any time you have experienced performance issues in games after updating, we recommend applying this patch as soon as possible.
