5. SteamWorld Dig
The first of all tea Steamworlddespite having been released more than 10 years ago, is still very good, with a score of 76 on Metacritic. The story is really simple, since we control a friendly robot that will have to dig to obtain diamonds and precious stones. The best thing is its combination of platforming and a bit of Metroidvania.
4. SteamWorld Build
With a 77 out of 100 rating on Metacritic, the latest game in the series manages to sneak into the fourth spot on the top. If we said before that this series is no stranger to combining genres, here we have a mix between Simcity-like gameplay with, as expected, mining elements. A combination that, although strange, was very fun.

We change genre again for this installment, more closely resembling what the Blizzard game Hearthstone could offer us. With a score of 81 on Metacritic, we will have to face a series of enemies while we choose the best strategies with our decks of cards. If you are a fan of this genre, we recommend that you give it a try.
2. SteamWorld Heist
In the silver medal we have SteamWorld Heista video game that has a rating of 82 on Metacritic. The gameplay changes drastically again, and even the story, since now we will play a steampunk pirate captain, in which we will have to confront each other with gunfire to hordes and hordes of enemies. Interesting, really.
1. SteamWorld Dig 2
The sequel to the title that started it all is considered by specialized critics as the best of the entire saga, giving it a score of 85 on Metacritic.
