On many occasions we turn on our flashlight unintentionally Because this is located on the main screen of the iPhone, however, when we want to deactivate it, sometimes, by having to press for a few seconds, we are not able to.
It's something that, at least to me, usually happens when it's raining or I just got out of the shower with wet hands. And I won't tell you anymore in this winter time with gloves that my iPhone barely detects. However, there is a much simpler way to turn it off.
How to turn off the flashlight much faster
And despite being a very absurd and simple trick, it is very effective. And we are not talking about doing it through Siri, which is also a very interesting option, since when using our voice we will not need to touch the screen with wet hands or with gloves, like the examples we gave now, but we will do it a much easier and faster way.
To do this we will only have to, being on the lock screen, instead of touching the flashlight icon and pressing for a little, swipe leftas if we were going to open the camera, at that moment the flashlight will turn off and we will not need to continue sliding until we complete the journey.
This “trick” works because the flashlight turns off whenever we open the cameraand because sliding to the side opens this app, we get a shortcut to do it in the form of a trick, since it is not something that Apple implemented as such, but what we are going to take advantage of.
And since it is possible that you still do not understand the process very well, or you simply want to see it in a more visual way, to really check if it takes less time and is easier than pressing a button, I leave you a video where you can see it more clearly.
Thanks to this you will never again have to fight with those drops of water that prevent you from pressing the button for a few seconds, nor those gloves that interfere with the screen intermittently. You will only have to do a little slide and that's it, as if by magic it will turn off. Plus, you can get it for much less than what appears in the video. If you practice a little you can even achieve it in just milliseconds.
Let's hope Apple considers being able to customize these lock screen buttons. They are practical, but we would like to be able to add the ones we want, thus eliminating the flashlight if we do not usually need it, thus ensuring that it is not activated involuntarily every so often. At least it happens too much to me.
And you, did you know this trick? Do you have any other, apart from using Siri, to turn the flashlight on or off in a simple and quick way? Leave us a comment with your opinions and advice, we will be happy to read them. And if you know another trick on another topic that you would like us to talk about, you can also tell us about it and we will add it to the next article.
