The result of a collaboration between Logitech and Tencent, the Logitech G Cloud is one of the latest portable consoles dedicated to cloud gaming and even though it received a score of 6/10 in our test, it fulfills its role very well. Its price is considered a little high given its configuration, but this promotion at Amazon and Fnac corrects this slightly since the Logitech G Cloud is currently available at 319.99 euros instead of 359.99 euros.

Where to buy
Logitech G Cloud (2022) at the best price?
A Nintendo Switch-style cloud gaming console
The first images of the Logitech G Cloud revealed by the famous leaker Evan Blass did not fail to provoke reactions regarding its similarity with a certain Japanese console. Indeed, the configuration of the buttons immediately brings to mind the Nintendo Switch, but that is not the only common point. The quality of the finishes is also impeccable, and even though the Logitech G Cloud is heavier, you don’t really notice the difference thanks to its good ergonomic design, even during long gaming sessions.
However, one point can make you cringe: the screen. When we turn it on, we discover a 7-inch LCD panel in Full HD definition and with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. At more than €350 per console, we would rather expect OLED and 120 Hz. This screen is not bad, we have good contrasts and a brightness greater than what is announced by the Swiss manufacturer. Overall, it’s better quality than what the Steam Deck and standard Nintendo Switch offer.
A bad tablet, but an excellent cloud gaming console
This may seem surprising, but the Logitech G Cloud is equipped with a Snapdragon 720G, a mid-range processor released in 2022 and whose performance is clearly behind with only 4 GB of RAM. It is not even capable of running demanding games from the Play Store such as Fortnite And Genshin Impact. Hence the claim that the Logitech G Cloud is a bad Android tablet, but it is excellent when it comes to cloud gaming.
Since Logitech has surrounded itself with Microsoft and Nvidia, Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now services are available by default on the console. It is also possible to play your Steam games by installing the Steam Link application, but this requires having your PC turned on nearby. In any case, the Logitech G Cloud is designed for home use if we believe the absence of a 5G chip, it is also not compatible with Wi-Fi 6E but the 2×2 MIMO of Wi-Fi 5 , which is more than enough to enjoy a stable connection and make the Logitech G Cloud an excellent portable cloud gaming platform.
