After teasing the potential pink iPhone 16 Pro again yesterday, a new image posted to social media by Sonny Dickson shows the iPhone 16 Pro in three colors, including a new shade of titanium black that’s significantly darker than this year’s iPhone 15 Pro. It also gives us a look at the base iPhone 16 colors
iPhone 16 Pro colors
As a reminder, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are currently available in four colors:
- Natural titanium (gray)
- Blue titanium
- White titanium
- Black titanium
In all likelihood, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will come in similar shades, except for the blue being replaced by pink:
This information has been corroborated several times. Even the colorways carried over from last year are said to be modified, including a darker black and a shinier finish on the surrounding titanium.
Today’s image of Sonny Dickson shows three of these color options : White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Black Titanium. From this image, the “Black Titanium” version of the iPhone 16 Pro will indeed be darker than the iPhone 15 Pro.
However, the image does not include the pink color for the iPhone 16 Pro. There are two possibilities: either Apple has not yet finalized the rendering of this colorway, or it has been discontinued. The new Titanium Pink option is highly anticipated for the iPhone 16 Pro, as the iPhone 15 lineup was the first to not include a gold finish since the iPhone XS in 2018.
The colors of the iPhone 16 (and 16 Plus)
As for the iPhone 16, and its counterpart, the iPhone 16 Plus, the new colors are more pronounced. Once again, it is Sonny Dickson who shares with us a first real-world preview of Apple’s future smartphones.
These new iPhone 16 dummy units corroborate this change by showing a thinner camera, aligned vertically rather than diagonally.
Additionally, the images also show new colors for the iPhone 16 lineup. As a reminder, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in the following colors:
- Blue
- YELLOW
- Pink
- Green
- Black
Everything suggests that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be available in these colors:
- Blue
- pink
- White
- Black
