So with that said, we can begin with the list.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
We start with one of the most recent installments of the franchise. We believe that this title is a must-play since these new remasters that are coming in the near future will be very similar in both graphics and gameplay to this title. You could say that it is a game that introduces us to the most modern aspects of the saga.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The reason why we consider that if you want to get started in the world of Dragon Questthis title is one of the best because it was the one that put the franchise on the map, beyond its country of origin, Japan. Given this fact, we think that it is one of the installments of the saga that you have to play no matter what, although we imagine that you have already done so.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Each delivery of Dragon Quest has excelled in something in its own special way. In the case of the ninth game, it has the best turn-based fighting system in the series, and that’s saying something. If you’re not a big fan of this style of fighting, we’re sure that after trying this game, you’ll fall in love with turn-based fighting.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Apart from being the first title in the series to bet completely on 3D, in terms of story it is also one of the best in the franchise.
