The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) announced that by the end of the six-year term of Andrés Manuel López Obrador it will have sufficient coverage to supply internet to 118 million Mexicans.

This is a telecommunications and Internet for All program that will work in coordination with Altán Redes, which intends to install 12,601 communication towers to connect communities that still do not have access to a network.

So you can connect to CFE’s free Wi-Fi

To access CFE Telecommunications and Internet for All (Teit) you need to know the availability of your network. For this, the company has a map of establishments where you can contract the service throughout the country, check it here.

To confirm if you are within the coverage area, you just have to move the cursor over the map and check if the service is enabled where you live.
