In recent years, iPhone presentations have concentrated in mid or late September. It had been rumored that this year it would be on September 14.
But according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who has spread rumors that have come true before, the presentation of the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch Series 8 will be on September 7and will go on sale at the end of the month.
Apple usually sends the invitations (in recent years, virtual), a week in advance, so if the date of September 7 is true, August 30 or 31 should become official. It is a long-awaited keynote, because this year there will be a lot of news.
The first revolution is that, unlike previous generations, where they mainly differ in cameras, this year the differences between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are going to be abysmal. And there will be no iPhone 14 Mini.
Unfortunately, due to inflation and the rising cost of raw materials, all iPhone 14 will cost about 100 euros more.
Along with the new iPhones, we will see the new Apple Watch Series 8 watches, and a revamped version of the Apple Watch SE. But the big news will be the new Watch Pro model, which will have more power, a larger screen and added protection for outdoor use in hazardous work or sports.
Other rumors claim that Apple wants to launch the 10th Generation of iPad in September. A complete redesign of the entry-level iPad with less bezel, USB Type-C connection, and other improvements. If this is true, It is likely that Apple will take advantage of the iPhone keynote to present it. Although an own presentation a week later is not ruled out either.
In a couple of weeks we will clear up doubts, and we will see if the date of the September 7th it’s true.
