A smartphone that has a good bottom drawer
Last year, we wrote an article recommending against upgrading to the iPhone 14 if you already owned an iPhone 13, as the differences between these two smartphones are minimal. First of all, we have this same premium design, well finished, with flat aluminum slices and rounded edges. It’s beautiful, it’s classy, but it smells reheated. We also have the same Super Retina XDR screen, bright and very pleasant to look at, however, the refresh rate does not go beyond 60 Hz, which looks bad for a 1,000 euro smartphone.
The components have been updated since the iPhone 14 uses the same chip as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, an A15 Bionic with impeccable performance and capable of accomplishing any task without slowing down. Even if it begins to be left behind by competitors equipped with the latest Qualcomm SoC, it remains honorable. Finally, autonomy also receives the table of excellence since the iPhone 14 is capable of lasting two days without flinching. On the other hand, slow charging is still singled out.
What are the differences with the iPhone 15?
