Marques Brownlee, from the MKBHD channel, one of the best youtubers technology has just released its traditional end-of-year video awarding its awards to different smartphones. We have different categories and this year Apple has won in two of them with its new iPhone 15including the award for best smartphone camera.
Welcome to the Smartphone Awards 2023. Numerous smartphones come onto the market every year, and this year is no different. We have all kinds of shapes, sizes, features and budgets – a lot of phones. Like clockwork, at the end of the year you can count on me to pick a few favorites in each of the categories I divide them into. This is a roundup of the best and some of the worst phones of 2023, according to my choice. I always know that I will receive criticism in some of the categories; I'm sure I'll hear it in the comments and that's fine, but these are my choices and I'm sticking with them.
The iPhone 15 wins the price for the best camera and best battery
The first prize that an Apple device won was best camera in a smartphone, awarded to the iPhone 15 Pro. Curiously, not the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which has the same camera system but with a telephoto zoom that reaches 5x.
The second prize won by Apple was the best battery in a smartphone, awarded in this case to the iPhone 15 Plus. Apple's large affordable terminal is one of those that offer the most battery5, standing out for its 100 hours of battery life listening to audio, no other model lasts that long.

This year Marques Brownlee has given awards in 10 different categories where the network of brands on the market are present. Apple wins two awards for two of its iPhone 15. These are this year's categories:

Apple has managed to include two of their new iPhones among the winners, which is not bad at all. It is the only company that achieves this together with Samsung. However, it has not won important titles such as best large smartphone with the iPhone 15 Pro Max or MVP.
