From this 2022/2023 season and until at least 2026/2027, LaLiga has presented a new scenario that we have never seen before, since our country’s league competition has its television rights divided between two parties: Movistar Plus+ and DAZN. However, this is not an exact 50/50 split, so Movistar has a higher percentage which materializes in three exclusive days.

With the celebration of day 24 starting today, all matches will be seen on Movistar Plus+ and its LaLiga channels on M+, so DAZN customers will have to go to a friend’s house or go down to the bar to see Atlético, Barcelona, Real Madrid and company or settle for watching the Premier League and the premiere of the Formula 1 season 2023, which does not look bad at all.

Movistar has three exclusive days of LaLiga

It must be remembered that the LaLiga rights distribution agreement from this 2022/2023 season and until 2026/2027 is made between DAZN and Movistar. However, it is not an exact distribution at 50%, since only 35 of the 38 days are broadcast on both platforms that make up the National League Championship.

As a general rule, of the 10 games of each day, 5 matches are broadcast by the DAZN LaLiga channel and the other five by the LaLiga channel on M+. One of these 10 matches (either Friday or Monday) can also be seen free to air, since Gol PLAY (formerly Gol TV) broadcasts this match every day, including the exclusive days that Movistar has for itself.

Speaking of exclusive days, these were not fixed in advance at the beginning of the season, but we have been learning about them as we go. The first of them was the early day 4, which took place from Friday the 2nd to Monday the 5th of September. After this, the next one that was fully broadcast on Movistar Plus+ It was matchday 11, played from Saturday October 22 to Monday October 24. Now, with the matchday 24 dispute, it will once again be seen only on M+.

Schedules and matches of day 24

With the extra matches that there will be this weekend on Movistar Plus+, we are going to review the schedules and channels where these will be broadcast 10 exclusive Movistar Plus+ matches on matchday 24.
