‘The Last of Us’, the television series based on the video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2013, will reach the end of its first season on March 12.
The series is being produced by HBO in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television and features the creators of the original game, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin.
The plot of the series follows Joel, a lonely and hardened man by the post-apocalyptic world, who is hired to take Ellie, a young woman immune to the infection that has devastated society, through a ruined United States in search for a group of scientists who may hold the key to curing the disease. Along the way, Joel and Ellie face numerous dangers, both human and infected, as they fight to survive in a desolate world.

Through its social networks, HBO confirmed that the final episode of the season of ‘The Last of Us’ will be brought forward one hour in its broadcast on television and streaming to avoid competition with the Oscars.
In Mexico, the episode will air at 7:00 PM CT, which means fans will be able to catch Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey at the season finale before tuning in to the awards show.
