A CO2 neutral mobile plan, what do you think? It’s not just Apple Watches that achieve this!
The Prixtel operator (SFR network) now offers the Oxygène mobile plan for only 7.99 euros per month. This very affordable subscription is a limited series: we therefore assume that it could disappear soon. Prixtel’s Oxygène subscription comes with fifteen gigabytes of mobile data in the European Union and overseas departments. But the envelope reaches a better level in mainland France, since it offers thirty gigabytes of data in 4G here. It’s a no-commitment package and, of course, unlimited calls, SMS and even MMS. And you can customize the amount of mobile data, at a price.

For example, the Oxygen package can cost 10.99 euros per month if you choose to upgrade to fifty gigabytes. Or 12.99 euros per month if you opt for 70 gigabytes. As the operator explains, you pay for what you consume. This is really practical, because you don’t risk too much out of package. And, in any case, if even the 70 gigabytes are not enough, you can always access other Prixtel packages. The company markets several of them.
A CO2 neutral package
The Oxygen package at 7.99 euros per month from Prixtel is CO2 neutral.

It’s a value proposition that reminds us of Apple’s last keynote. The company has also unveiled a carbon-neutral Apple Watch. This is a notable effort for the environment. Prixtel, for its part, chooses to make investments in renewable energies. This is a good way to offset greenhouse gas emissions. Telecommunications can in particular generate waste, but we also know that servers consume a lot of electricity. However, we request them very often when we use websites and other internet-related resources.
Among the environmental information from Prixtel, we can read that a mobile plan emits up to thirty kilograms of CO2e per year. This is really not insignificant. Except that Prixtel is a member of the Climate Act. This is a commitment by several companies to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. Other companies are part of it, such as Aigle, Shine or Elinoï.
The features of this affordable mobile plan
An online space is available on the Prixtel website to manage your account. In particular, you can find data concerning the package at 7.99 euros per month: invoices, consumption, etc. To connect to your customer area, you will only need an email.
The Prixtel mobile plan also allows you to benefit from voice messaging. You can personalize it as you wish, at no extra cost. This is a good way to communicate important information to you if you cannot answer the phone. With the update to iOS 17, iPhones also offer the ability to transcribe these audios into text: this is very useful.
With Prixtel’s Oxygène mobile plan, you can also take advantage of a few options to add to your bill as you wish. For example, for thirty-eight cents per minute, you can make calls that last more than two hours. The price relates to each additional minute beyond this limit.
The number of calls is unlimited, but transfer from France to a French number is not. With Prixtel, for this option, you will have to pay the same price as the option mentioned previously.
Some benefits are automatically included in the package. These include blocking premium rate telephone numbers, visual messaging for iPhone and Wi-Fi and 4G calls. The Prixtel SIM card will be sent to your home directly. But you will obviously need to enter your postal address to receive it.
