After its presentation a little over a month ago, it was only a matter of time before one of the different laptop manufacturers opted for the new range of AMD processors to implement it in their computers. ASUS has just presented the new range of Zephyrus G16 2014 laptops, a new range of laptops inside which we find the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
The new range of Zephyrus G16 2024 laptops is available in four different configurations and is characterized by offering a thin and very light design, with a long-lasting battery with the most modern connectivity options and, of course, with a OLED display with VRR.
This new ASUS laptop, available through the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand, is already available for purchase in the United States, but not in Europe, so we will have to wait a few weeks until the availability of the Zephyrus range is expanded to the old continent.
New range of ASUS laptops with AI
As we have mentioned above, the new Zephyrus G16 2024 range is managed by the new processor with AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370a processor that includes a dedicated NPU to perform Artificial Intelligence tasks locally without depending on the cloud or the device’s processor or graphics card, which, in turn, allows it to extend battery life.
Along with this processor, ASUS has opted for NVIDIA as the graphics manufacturer, specifically for the models RTX 4070 and RTX 4060depending on the model we select. The model with the RTX 4070 graphics card is accompanied by 32 GB of RAM LPDDR5X at 7500 MHz while the model with the RTX 4060 has 16 GB of the same type and speed.
In terms of connectivity options, this range includes support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and has a port USB41 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port (compatible with DisplayPort and Power Delivery). All models in this range incorporate a 16-inch screen with OLED technology and is also officially compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, being the first laptop with this type of screen that offers this compatibility. The screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio With 2.5K resolution and being a team focused on the gaming public, it has a refresh rate of 240 Hz. In addition, it has certification VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500.
