MIUI hides all kinds of options and functionalities. Xiaomi not only allows us to customize the interface of its smartphones or add a fill light for our video calls, but also delete and reset certain elements of the system so that everything works like the first day.
Probably all of you have experienced how, over time, the interface of our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO and in general, the whole system becomes somewhat slowerespecially when navigating between applications or when entering and leaving the main MIUI screen.
In general This slowness is caused by the MIUI launcher itself, becoming increasingly slower as time goes by. In addition, changing the wallpaper or simply moving applications from one place to another gradually makes it feel not as fluid as before.
Every week I restart the MIUI launcher to improve the fluidity of my Xiaomi
After years of using Xiaomi phones, I have realized that the element that most detracts from the user experience, resulting in a less fluid interface, is the system launcher itself. Fortunately this can be reset, something I do practically every week following these steps:
- Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications
- Once inside we look for the system Launcher
- After that, click at the bottom on Clear data and then on Clear cache
Do not expect a drastic change in the performance of your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, but a better user experience, especially over time. Doing this process every week or two will definitely improve flow.
If after clearing the cache of the application launcher your Xiaomi does not run smoother again, we recommend deleting all the data from the launcher. Yes indeed, By deleting all the data we will lose the order of the applications on the desktop, as well as any other customization that we have done I usually do this process approximately every month And just like that, I give my Xiaomi desktop a new look, either with a new background or a new combination of icons.
