Several users have expressed on Reddit concerns about the Pixel Watch’s alarm being delayed. A delay that can go up to almost 10 minutes.
Decidedly, the first months of the Pixel Watch are complicated. While the watch was launched last October, and even though it has received several updates allowing it to take advantage of new features – such as fall detection – the firm’s first connected watch is still suffering from several notable bugs.
After Google confirmed that the watch will not benefit from atrial fibrillation detection – even though the Fitbit app suggested it – or that some users discovered traces of marking on the Oled screen of the watch, it’s now a problem with the alarm that has been spotted by some users.
As the site says 9to5Google, several users have indicated, on the Reddit forum, that they are long minutes late when the alarm on their watch goes off. What potentially put them late. As a reminder, the Pixel Watch benefits, like most bracelets and connected watches, from a silent alarm function which will make the toquante vibrate at the given time… more or less.

“The delay ranges from one minute to nearly 10 minutes, with many users reporting that their alarm goes off a few minutes early. It doesn’t appear to be a recurring or daily problem, but happens randomly.”
precise 9to5Google. The author of the article indicates for his part that he has encountered this problem on two occasions since he has used the watch, when it was launched. This delay could go up to eight minutes on one occasion.
9to5Google also looks at several possible explanations, such as the watch going into deep sleep during sleep mode activation or a long period of inactivity which could delay the alarm triggering time. However, it does not seem that the explanation comes from a faulty update pushed by Google. Indeed, the problem would have already been encountered several months ago by some users. However, it is possible that the problem is solved by a simple update of the connected watch;
