On May 9, POCO will unveil its new POCO F5. This new generation will make use of the powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2a processor that has nothing to envy to other processors such as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as we will see below.

Doing use of the same architecture of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 will bring great performance to the POCO F5, outperforming even other smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 870. This is at least some of the latest tests seen through AnTuTu.

Don’t let its name fool you. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is manufactured under a 4nm processthat is, the same as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In addition, uses the same ARM architecturediffering only in their frequency of work.

According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 that we will see in the POCO F5 offers a 50% performance improvement compared to the previous generation. Likewise, the performance of the GPU in relation to its use in games has been doubly improved.

As a result of this great work by Qualcomm, the POCO F5 will be able to give AnTuTu scores of up to 969,903 points, easily outperforming other 8 Series processors like the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870.

But it does not finish here. As confirmed by POCO, the new POCO F5 will be equipped with the optimization technology Liquid Cool 2.0in combination of HyperBoost. This will provide great heat dissipation, especially when gaming.

In short, the POCO F5 will be more powerful than expected and the key to that will be the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. Also, everything indicates that this new generation will offer a very good pricealthough we will not be able to confirm anything until this coming May 9.
