It was a matter of time, knowing that the third season had ended a long time ago, that there would be news about this series. Apple has revealed the first trailer for the fourth season of ‘For All Humanity’one of the most valued series in its catalog.
Its plot is a ‘What if’ in capital letters, posing the possibility of the USSR getting ahead of the United States by setting foot on the moon and accelerating the space race instead of shutting it down. This space race provokes an alternative history of our civilization in which we launch ourselves into space at a much faster pace than in our real history.
The ‘What If’ of the space race taken to the extreme
In the first and second seasons we colonize the moon with permanent bases, while in the third season we arrive at Mars in full competition between private companies and government agencies. In this first preview of the new episodes we are going to see a permanent base on Mars and our protagonist well into his years encouraging you to be one of the first colonists of the red planet.
From that premise, the suspicions and enmities between the world’s two superpowers will continue and we will enter the personal stories of each of the protagonists. ‘For All Mankind’ has momentum for a while, and as the plot progresses we move towards a whole science fiction story closer to ‘The Expanse’ than to something similar to our story.
The fourth season of ‘For All Humanity’ premieres Friday, November 10, with the premiere that day of the first chapter and the remaining nine appearing weekly. I’m already looking forward to seeing how this continues. space opera which has been on Apple TV+ since its inception.
