Kick off for the promotion of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, of which we will soon know all the secrets… and which will probably be the first smartphone on the market equipped with the brand new SoC Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 from Qualcomm.
Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, has confirmed the upcoming arrival of a device that has been rumored for weeks: the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. This newcomer, for the moment unveiled through only two visuals, will be presented with great fanfare on March 28 in China. Logically, the device will be the first smartphone on the market to be powered by the brand new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 announced by Qualcomm last week.
The first of the two visuals shared by Redmi shows a straight, refined smartphone with very flat edges. We mainly note the presence of three rear photo sensors, including a 64 Mpx main module, and the addition of a 3.5 mm headphone jack (increasingly rare on smartphones).
A rather well-endowed mid-range smartphone?
If we are to believe previous leaks, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo should also rely on a 6.67-inch Oled Full HD + screen, capable of going up to 120 Hz. The device would also be powered by a battery of 5000 mAh, and could count on a 67 W fast charging technology. Alongside its probable Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the device would also bet on a maximum of 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) coupled with 256 GB of storage in UFS 3.1.

In terms of photography, beyond its main 64 Mpx sensor, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo would be equipped with a 16 Mpx selfie sensor, a 2 Mpx macro camera and an ultra wide-angle module of 8 MP. In terms of software, it would finally be powered by Android 13 and the MIUI 14 overlay.
As reported GizmoChinait is finally quite possible that the Poco F5 5G, expected to arrive in India on April 6, will in fact be a slightly revamped version and “ rebranded of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that interests us today. Response expected shortly.
