Are you looking for a versatile electric bike? The Winora Yucatan X8 is a model that is quite capable in the city during the week, but which can also be taken to the countryside on the weekend. To do this, your comfort was the priority in the construction with an assumed MTB style. The standard equipment accompanying the bike is complete. The strong point of this model lies in its autonomy. During our test, the Winora Yucatan X8 was able to last 132 kilometers in Auto mode, which allows you to adapt to your pace. When driving, it is rather flexible thanks to the Yamaha engine allowing the bike to start immediately. Above all, the versatility allowed by the model offers a lot of dynamism when driving. We especially regret the lack of connectivity. The Winora Yucatan X8 that we tested on Frandroid is displayed at the price of 3399 euros in specialized stores.

Buying a folding electric bike is a good idea for those who have little space to store their vehicle. Among the models available on the market, the Ado Air 20 is one of those to highlight. In its construction, the latter is easily foldable even if it leaves the battery and the saddle exposed. Once installed, your upright position is ideal for city trips, especially since the electric bike remains manageable and comfortable. The 250W motor provides enough punch for some road bumps. You won’t climb the Tourmalet, but for most towns in France it’s sufficient. Finally, in optimal conditions, you will be able to reach 60 kilometers of autonomy effortlessly. There remains one downside: the components are not standardized, which is a problem for possible repairs. If that doesn’t worry you, the Ado Air 20 which was tested by us, is available for 1399 euros.
