This ad appears on the Twitter profile of a marketing company: “The work of watching TikTok 2.0″ (well, that’s the same thing, but in English) and explains that they are looking for three people with experience in using the social network (at least in seeing it) and that they will charge $1,000 each, for 10 hours of work (that is, the task is paid at $100 an hour) to watch TikTok videos.
It could be a scam (in fact, how many scams are there offering easy money), but it is not: it is a ad published a few days ago by the marketing company Ubiquitous on his Twitter profile.
HOW TO DEACTIVATE YOUR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT TEMPORARILY 2020
What does the company gain from marketing
There is still until May 31 to submit the application as a candidate for this job.
Analyzing the Ubiquitous selection process, it can be seen that for what is precisely a marketing company, it will give it a lot of visibility in terms of marketing:
Candidates must be subscribed to ubiquitous youtube channel, so this will help you increase your visibility on this social network; the selected person agrees that their image may be used in advertising material in the future; and, now optional, you can retweet this offer to reach more people.
Thus, Ubiquitous already gains visibility and a persona that you can use in advertising campaigns. It must be remembered that this company specializes in helping others to become more visible on social networks and, with this example, it shows how it is possible.
On the other hand, the task of the person should be, first watch TikTok content and then post on the platform of social networks that the person chooses by talking about their experience and tagging Ubiquitous.
“Successful candidates will also help us spot emerging trends by filling out a simple document to note any recurring trends they spot.”
It’s not the first time
This is not the time that this same company does something similar. Last year in the fall he was also looking for users of the social network for similar experiments. If you repeat it, probably, because it has been worth the investment.
Another example we have is the Chinese firm Kuaishou, which landed in various markets in Latin America under the name of Kwai. Your hook to differentiate yourself in the social media market is that it promises content consumers to be able to earn money with it.
In principle, if you see the description of Kwai, they could also be talking about TikTok: “it is a social network of short videos and trends”. As a user, it encourages you to discover “funny short videos”, contribute “to the virtual community with recordings, videos of your life, playing daily challenges or liking the best memes and videos” and sharing “your life with short videos and choose from dozens of magical effects and filters for them.”
Its main differentiation from TikTok is that some ads that users from countries like Mexico claim that through this application you can earn from an extra income. In other words, it says that it pays money to those who consume the content. Still, it is not recognized for being a great source of income.
