The most mainstream messaging application hides unique and exclusive functions for both iPhone users and those who have an Android phone. Yes, incredible as it may seem, there are variations in both interfaces beyond aesthetics and some of them are important: these are the WhatsApp functions that you will only find on Android today.
Change font size
Android only allows to change the font size of the app onlyfor which you will have to click on the three points in the upper right corner and in “Chats” enter “Font size”, where three options appear to choose from.
On iPhone there are two global options. The first is to go to “Settings” > “Display and brightness” and there slide the toggle to change the general text size or also in “Settings” > “Accessibility“>”Screen and text size“. There you will find “larger text“, with the toggle above and an extra in case you need an even bigger font generalized.
Send uncompressed photos

As of today, only Android allows us to send photos with the original quality without taking any extra steps… although it’s not the most intuitive process in the world. Fortunately, in theory, an update will soon arrive that allows you to send photos via WhatsApp without losing any quality as one more option.
At the moment when we are in a chat we have to click on the clip icon and there select “Document”. Important: do not select gallery.
From here you have navigate through your files in search of the photograph that you want to send You can find it by filtering in “Images” or if you want a specific one, you can also click on “Search other documents” and use its name. Once you have it, click on send.
On iPhone, although you can replicate the process in a chat by clicking on “+” and “Document”, you will only be able to move through iCloud Drive and you will not have access to your photos (even if you save them in Apple’s cloud service). The only option is to save them manually in a folder in your cloud.
Select all chats

Imagine that you are cleaning all the chats and groups that you have open on your WhatsApp. A thorough cleaning. On Android you can hold down to select a chat and if you hit the three dots in the upper right corner, the option to “select all“, which will allow you to execute actions at once, such as deleting them.
On iPhone you would have to click on “Edit” and select one by one until you mark them all, a much more laborious process, since this option does not appear.
