Google released Android 15 AOSP today, but Android updates come through many more fronts than just new Android versions. Proof of this is the Android Enhancement Package which is starting to reach all users, regardless of their Android version.
The Android enhancement package includes five new features in Google Chrome, Wear OS, Circle to search and more, which are not dependent on a specific version of Android. It’s like a Pixel Feature Drop, but not just for Pixels.
TalkBack relies on Gemini
TalkBack is the Android screen reader that allows people with vision problems to receive audio descriptions. Now, Google has announced that it will Talkback will use Gemini on supported devices to generate detailed audio descriptions of images.
These TalkBack audio descriptions of images with Gemini will be available everywhere, from online images to mobile photo gallery or social networks.
Identifying songs in Rodea to search

To do this, you need to do the same thing as to activate Surround to Search: open Surround to Search and tap on the new music button to the right of the Google search bar.

If you prefer to listen instead of read, Google has made the feature official. Listen to this page from Chrome, which has been activated for users of this browser for a couple of months now.
With Listen to this pageaccessible from the browser’s ⋮ menu, you can have the browser narrate the content of the website you are visiting, being able to choose the speed of the narration and the voice.
Offline maps on Wear OS
Another novelty that we learned about a few weeks ago but that Google has now made official for everyone is the offline maps in Google Maps on Wear OSwhich began to be activated in mid-August.

Earthquake alerts in more places
Google has announced that the Android earthquake alert system is expanding to all states in the United States and six territories. The alerts provide advice on how to proceed in the event of an earthquake and the next steps after the shaking has stopped.
