The fever for the famous brand of digital watches has no end, and if the large number of models that make up the Casio catalog was not enough, the brand wanted to go one step further by giving life to a collaboration with the toy brand Stasto Stand Stones from Japan. The result? Some plastic jewels that imitate the appearance of several mythical models of the brand.
A Casio like a glove
You already know that everything that becomes miniature has an attraction capacity that cannot be explained. It has happened with Nintendo, SEGA and PlayStation consoles in mini format, and it has happened again with this peculiar product. Because in Japan they are already a sensation.
In total are 5 models that have been released in this format, and are priced at 400 yen each (2.53 euros). Obviously they are not functional, and are simply an aesthetic complement with which to complete your outfit. Miniaturized models are:
- F-91W-1: The mythical digital Casio par excellence.
- DBC-611-1: The unmistakable calculator watch.
- AE-1200WH-1A: Known as Royale, it is another that is part of the brand’s Hall of Fame.
- MQ-24-7B2: A very popular analogue model.
- AQ-230GA-9: An icon of the brand’s most vintage range, unmistakable with its golden case and strap.
The rings have an inner diameter of 18.7 millimeters, so they are quite small. So in case you have big hands, you will have to settle for exposing them as a collection.
You can buy them?
These great rings have only been available in Japan since last July, so you will have to find ways to find them online. They already appear on eBay the first units, but as expected, with outrageously inflated prices, finding the complete collection pack at no less than 60 dollars. We do not know if this peculiar Casio line will make the leap to other countries, but we are sure that it will become an object of desire for many.
