The main features that we find in this program, among many others, are:
- We can switch between the Windows 11 taskbar and the Windows 10 taskbar. If we choose the latter, we unlock extra features such as being able to see the names of the programs next to the icons, make the icons smaller, and many other options.
- We deactivate the context menu of Windows 11, and the command bar in the file explorer.
- When opening the start, we can directly see all the installed apps. In addition, we can also change the number of frequent applications, show it (or not) on the active monitor, and much more.
- We can customize the Alt+Tab style we want, switching between Windows 10, Windows 11 and even the classic Windows NT.
- Unlock system tray icons.
- It allows us to configure what we want it to do when we right or left click on the network icon.
- It allows us to deactivate the Windows search engine, or return to the classic Windows 7.
Download and launch
The program is completely free, so to use it we simply have to download the latest version from the following link. Once downloaded, we run the installer and follow it to the end. When finished, the new taskbar will load on our PC. Now we just have to right-click on it and select the “Properties” option to open it.
Of course, its developer warns us that we can find some small “bugs” when using the program. For example, the screen color may change to a solid color for a moment when you open the program, and you also need to accept the dialog window. Windows SmartScreen For security. But otherwise the program does not have any other problems. And the changes are fully reversible, so just by closing the program, or uninstalling it, we will have an unmodified Windows 11.
It is important to note that, although the program also serves to customize the Windows 10 taskbarit is possible that if we use it on this system some options are not available as they are exclusive to Windows 11.
