The Apple Watch is, for many, a masterpiece of technology, even above the iPhone. The boldest way of interweaving technology and usability, tradition and innovation.
Not surprisingly, their designs respond to a lot of iteration and hundreds of previous tests. What an Apple Watch Ultra hides inside makes it clear that nothing is placed there by chance. Yes, it looks like an expensive toy where you can install video games, but nothing is further: in recent months we have had evidence of models that have saved several lives. As it was, one of those tests, a first operating model, has been leaked. And it looks sensational.
A strange Apple Watch with three sensors
In September 2014 we witnessed the milestone: the first Apple Watch was presented and, with it, a new way of understanding modern watchmaking. He brought his own version of iOS under his arm —watchOS, to be exact—, GPS, full connectivity with the then current iPhone 5, compatibility with more than 60 customizable straps, a digital crown that dazzled just by looking at it, a pressure-sensitive touch screen and it was also compatible with Apple Pay thanks to the NFC chip. However, there is something that we did not see among its thousand faces: its rear aspect.

We knew that this product incorporated four key sensors along with four green LED lights: ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and heart rate sensor. But, what if Apple had opted for a less square model and more adapted to the shape of the arm? What if the Apple Watch had had three macro-sensors?
This prototype existed and even reached the hands of Giulio Zompetti, a software engineer who worked within the iOS department as a security researcher. He was the one who photographed it and who had access to this prototype. The unborn Apple Watch is in excellent condition and corresponds to Model 123456. The serial number, on the other hand, has been hidden, which suggests to some extent that it was functional, at least partially.
