Microsoft wants to include its Copilot artificial intelligence in practically its entire Windows ecosystem, not only in a browser, but in the most famous Redmond applications.
And in fact, the Copilot artificial intelligence It is already available in several Microsoft services, including the operating system and the browser, and in general those from Redmond usually test the new features first in Edge and then in Windows.
Well, after originally being tested in Copilot in Edge, the functionality called “read aloud” is now being tested in Windows Copilot in the development channel.
Its operation is very simple, since reading aloud in Windows Copilot basically means that the chatbot itself reads the responses for us.
Thus, A new speaker icon is added to the end of each of Copilot's responses. By clicking on the new speaker icon, the chatbot will read the response made out loud.
This speaker icon is next to the copy option, making it easily accessible by any type of user.
Thanks to this read aloud feature in Windows Copilot, multitasking is enhanced so that you don't waste time reading the answers, which in certain cases can be very long.
Obviously, this is also a valuable accessibility feature for people who can't rely on visual cues to consume written content, so it's welcomed.
