While we don’t expect the Pixel Tablet until at least May, leaker SnoopyTech has unveiled the first images of the device’s main accessory: its dock. The latter incorporates speakers and a power outlet on the back.
If Google formalized a long time ago now that its first tablet is in the works, it must be admitted that the latter is relatively discreet with leakers. It must be said that the Mountain View company did not hesitate to communicate on the latter, going so far as to reveal the interface that will welcome users at launch. Moreover, we finally know very little about the Pixel Tablet.
Also, it is with a slight surprise that we saw appear what is probably the dock of the latter on the Twitter account of SnoopyTech. The renowned leaker has indeed published this morning some images of what will probably be called the Google Pixel Tablet Stand, like the Pixel Stand for the firm’s smartphones. What to extract from it some interesting information.

The Pixel Tablet dock is revealed before its time
To begin with, its design is intended to be relatively sober, sporting a very light gray as well as a flat edge, on which the tablet will nest. As Google said at the conference, the support incorporates a magnet system to hold it in place. Like the Nest Hub, which the Pixel Stand will probably replace, the dock is equipped with speakers that will deliver the sound more pronounced.
On the back, there’s a power jack, which is likely meant for the speakers, but could also indicate a wireless charging feature. Unfortunately, Google skipped USB-C for the port, for unknown reason. Finally, the flat part presents a button with a mysterious use. It is possible that it is used to pair other devices, or even to reset the tablet if necessary.
As a reminder, a leak has already revealed part of the data sheet of the Pixel Tablet. We should thus find a 10.95-inch screen, two 8 MP IMX355 photo sensors and 256 GB of storage.
