Xiaomi is one of the mobile brands best known in the world. Its extensive catalog of devices has placed it among the first manufacturers not only because of the quality and price of its products, but also because of its enormous software development, where MIUI is the center of everything.

The MIUI 14 customization layer is the latest from the company, which is already deploying to all terminalsbut there is a still unknown tool that has just arrived globally and promises to bring the MIUI experience to tablets and, later, to the computer: MIUI+.

Expanding the horizons of MIUI

When MIUI 12.5 arrived in China in 2020, Xiaomi also introduced software through which we could duplicate the screen of our Xiaomi mobile on our tablet or computer and have a kind of own ‘operating system’. It was called MIUI+, and It was exclusive to the Chinese versions, until now.

This Xiaomi software has a lot of advantages, since it establishes a connection with the computer that goes much further than can be achieved simply by connecting the device via USB to transfer files. With MIUI+, connectivity is one step ahead.

Once the program has been downloaded to our computer or tablet and having the latest version of MIUI, when connecting the mobile to the computer and running the program we will have access to an exclusive desk where we will have all the information of our terminal, and we will be able to manage a lot of things:

  • Transfer files from mobile to computer/tablet and vice versa.
  • Copy texts from one device to another (also valid for images).
  • Share our mobile screen and view it on the computer/tablet.
  • Use the mobile from the tablet or the computer, answering messages and notifications.

For the moment, and despite the fact that MIUI+ It can now be downloaded on any tablet, only the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 5 are compatible with this tool. We will have to wait a little longer to enjoy it on more of the company’s phones and tablets and on the rest of the computers.
