The debut of the latest version of the Samsung customization layer came with the launch of the family Galaxy S24. In One UI 6.1 we have Galaxy AI, the package of functions based on generative artificial intelligence, in addition to many other improvements in relation to the Korean manufacturer’s native applications.
The “magic” features of AI will not reach everyone, for the moment only to some confirmed Galaxy. The rest will update without these functions even if they retain the rest of the features, and now, simply with an update in the clock app they start to arrive.
Samsung’s latest watch update brings us closer to One UI 6.1
With the arrival of One UI 6.1, Samsung has updated its clock application to give more possibilities to users. It won’t keep us awake when the alarm goes off, but it does offer greater customization.
To begin with, the Korean manufacturer has introduced the possibility of set a custom background. Thus, we can give a personal touch to the watch screen on Galaxy devices that have previous versions of One UI.
He has been the enthusiast of the Korean firm, @TechByBD, who has discovered the deployment of the watch app update. He himself confirms that he brings settings seen on the Galaxy S24apart from the alarm funds that we have mentioned.
In fact, it now also allows you to adjust the vibration intensity, useful if the default option does not convince us. Not only that, but it also adds sunrise and sunset times to the “World Clock” screen. At a glance we will know the time of sunrise and sunset, regardless of the cities added to this section.
Likewise, the size of the timer changes as well as a new setting is added to the “Routines” section. As we have mentioned, these changes only appeared on the Galaxy S24 with One UI 6.1. Now, once it is updated, it is possible to customize it from the three dots icon that you will see at the top.
In case you have a Galaxy compatible with the update, you should see it in the Galaxy Store. It won’t be as significant an update as others, but it’s an early way to squeeze in features before the expected batch of updates arrives. For the moment, we will continue waiting for Samsung to press the red button and deploy the latest version of its customization layer.
