To find a job, sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone, and that zone can be the fact of wanting a position in a specific province or even in Spain itself. That is why horizons must be opened and opt for telecommuting from international companies as can be Sticker Mule.

As its own name indicates, this company that is in 17 different countries, is focused on selling stickers through its website. In order to maintain their website and also the database, they are looking for several engineers and developers around the world to be able to telework, as long as they have a good level of English. Below we show you these three offers from a really peculiar company.

3 Site Reliability Engineer

Software engineer

This quirky company is currently searching the world over for a remote software engineer, so they can work remotely with a stress-deprived culture. For this they are asking to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, excellent communication skills in English, and experiences with Docker, Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, NodeJS or GraphQL. It’s interesting that they don’t ask for a specific number of years of experience, opening the doors to more people.

The tasks that you are going to face to improve and extend the GraphQL APIs used in the sticker layout, migrate a large database of code from Rails to NodeJS and also keep sites performing optimally. A minimum salary of 135,000 euros per year is offered with a bonus of up to 20,000 euros.

C++ software engineer

If you have experience in C++, you will also be able to enter as a C++ software engineer in this company. For this, it will be requested previous experience in C++, as well as the degree in computer science. All this to be able to apply it in Go, Postgress and cloud infrastructures.

The tasks that are going to be carried out are the improvement of the software in the automation of the production factory, migrating legacy services to Go and maintaining a large C++ code base. As in the previous case, there will be a minimum salary of 135,000 euros per year with a bonus of up to 20,000 euros.

I was a digital nomad when nobody else was: teleworking was a lot of fun, stressful (because of technology) and nobody understood what I was doing

Site Reliability Engineer

Finally, within the engineering team of this company, they are looking for a person who is in charge of the reliability of the remote website. As in the previous case, training in computer science and a high level of English will be requested. Within the specific knowledge, experience with JavaScript, PCG, AWS, GO, Postgress, Redis, or Docker.

The challenges you will face if you are selected is to create CI and CD pipelines, optimize and scale workloads in addition to maintaining secure web services. In many cases, you will have to work in the cloud itself to maintain a completely secure website. The promised salary is 135,000 euros a year and a bonus of 20,000 euros.
