The American manufacturer Harman Kardon has unveiled three new speakers that focus on autonomy, light effects and sound quality: the Luna, the Aura Studio 4 and the Go + Play 3.
As the summer period begins, the American manufacturer Harman Kardon has just unveiled three new Bluetooth speakers with a particularly elegant design. If all three are compatible with a wireless connection via Bluetooth, they are however distinguished by their format, their design, their audio performance and their launch price.
Harman Kardon Luna: a compact and portable speaker
The first and most compact of these three new speakers is the Harman Kardon Luma. it is a newcomer to the range of the American manufacturer with a particularly compact design, even smaller than that of the Go + Play Mini launched in 2021.
The particularity of this Luna is precisely its compactness and its autonomy, enough to make it a particularly nomadic speaker that you can take with you everywhere. Especially since the Harman Kardon Luna is IP67 certified and can therefore withstand shallow immersion for a few minutes. For autonomy, count up to 12 hours of use.
On the sound performance side, Harman Kardon’s small speaker has two active speakers – a full-range transducer and a tweeter for the treble – as well as two passive radiators to increase the volume of the bass.
The Harman Kardon Luna will be available in September at a price of 179.99 euros in France.
Harman Kardon Aura Studio 4: a bright speaker
Going upmarket, Harman Kardon is now offering its Aura Studio 4. Like the manufacturer’s previous Aura Studio speakers, this one is distinguished by its dome design reminiscent of the shape of the subwoofer of the Harman Kardon Sticks speakers released in 2000 .
The audio system this time relies on a 5.2-inch subwoofer facing the bottom of the speaker and a 360-degree sound distribution using six speakers, each accompanied by its own booster.
Above all, the Aura Studio 4 benefits from a light system using 324 crystals positioned at the base of the dome and which can be configured according to five light themes. The lights are also synchronized with the sound and their intensity can be adjusted.
The speaker is however a wired model intended for indoor use and therefore does not carry a battery.
The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 4 will also be available in September, priced at 329.99 euros.
Harman Kardon GO + Play 3: sound quality above all
Finally, the top of the range from the American manufacturer is represented by the new Harman Kardon GO + Play 3 speaker. This is a speaker with a rather massive appearance, like the previous models, but which focuses above all on quality. sound.
To do this, it takes advantage of three speakers, including a dedicated subwoofer – instead of the passive radiators used previously. The manufacturer also announces an amplification of up to 160 W and a volume 15% higher than on the Go + Play 2.
Always to adjust the sound quality as well as possible, the speaker is equipped with two microphones which can be used both for making voice calls and for automatically calibrating when switching on, depending on the layout of the speaker in the room. .
