Microsoft To-Do now recognizes natural language on iOS
Natural language recognition is a very useful feature that will save you several clicks and taps when adding reminders to Microsoft To Do. Eliminates the need to manually add a due date, reminder time, and repeat schedule. For example, you can write “Check Microsofters daily at 9pm” to automatically create a daily reminder with notifications at that time. Previously, users had to manually fill in the reminder, expiration, and repeat fields.
Recognition of date and time is an optional feature that can be disabled in the settings or on a case-by-case basis. This last option is very useful when a word is not a date. In this case, pressing the back button after a highlighted word removes the suggestion.
Natural language recognition is currently available in Microsoft To Do on Windows 10, 11 for English speaking users. You can learn more about how this feature works in the official Microsoft support documentation.
As we have already indicated is not available in Spanish at the moment. Surely in a matter of weeks it will be available in Spanish so that we can work with natural language and more easily with our tasks and schedules in Microsoft To-Do.
