Vivo S17 will have three mid-rand and premium smartphones. Apart from this, it is expected that this device can be introduced in China soon. According to Tech Outlook, the model numbers for the S17, S17 Pro, and S17e will be V2283A, V2284A, and V2285A, respectively. Apart from this, it is being told that some models of the lineup can be launched outside China as Vivo V29 series. It has also revealed some of the key specifications and features of the phone.
It is being said about the S17 series that it will have a Super AMOLED display. At the same time, all three models will be equipped with curved-edge display. Not only this, color changing rear panel can also be given in them. Also, the S17 series will have up to 128 GB of RAM. Apart from this, the base model of the phone will have 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. At the same time, the Select variant will have 8 GB + 256 GB storage and the top variant will have 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Not only this, the S17 Pro lineup can be offered with 16GB of RAM. The phone is also expected to provide optical image stabilization (OIS) support for the main camera. As of now, there is no disclosure about the number of sensors and camera hardware. According to Vivo, the S17 series will be launched in the third quarter of 2023. This means that the phones could launch in China between July and September 2023. We are still a few months away from the launch of the S17 series in China, so it will take a long time for the phones to go on sale as the V29 series launches in India.
